Client Visit to Discuss Sodium Battery Storage Project
On November 11, we were thrilled to welcome our client to our factory for an insightful exchange on advancing the sodium energy storage project in Germany!
We leaded client to visit Dowell’s production base in Changzhou and had a deep discussion about Sodium battery together with Dowell’s sales team and technical team. The entire visit was a fantastic opportunity to dive into the technical aspects, share our latest innovations, and strengthen our collaborative vision for sustainable energy solutions in Europe.
The potential for sodium-based energy storage is huge, and our partnership is a step forward in creating efficient, eco-friendly alternatives for energy storage. Compared with Lithium battery, Sodium has below advantages:
1.Abundant Resources: Sodium is more abundant than lithium and widely distributed, which reduces raw material costs and supply chain risks.
2.Environmental Benefits: Sodium batteries have a smaller environmental footprint and a more eco-friendly production process.
3.Superior Low-Temperature Performance: Sodium batteries can adapt to low temperature environments of -20°C and have a capacity retention rate of over 92%. Data shows that sodium ion batteries have a wider operating temperature range and can work normally in a temperature range of -40°C to 80°C. The capacity retention rate is close to 90% in an environment of -20°C, which is better than lithium batteries.
